July Update Blog

Well hello there dear reader, how's life been?

I am currently writing this blog in my not so brand new solo room here in Lipa City, Batangas (that's as close a place I'm giving you!!). Yes that's right! I moved and I no longer live in my parent's house. That's because I got a new job!

I don't know the extent of the NDA and how I am expected to behave in public and in essence, on the Internet, but that's that. I have a full time, on-site job here working as IT / Developer. I can't wrap around the exact details as all of this is new and I don't have my tasks yet as I am currently in training. If you like to know more about my job, DON'T let me know I won't tell you more :).

The lifestyle change is immense and I am slowly but surely having fun with it. As I now live alone, I now have to take care of myself fully. Cook my meals, wash my clothes, clean the place you know the drill. Honestly, it is not too bad. The chores around the 'house' takes up most of my time lately and I am only able to write now because it is my rest day and I don't have anything to do here except play games and write a blog update.

Time management is an incredible pain but good. As I've said, chores will take up most of my time. All the washing, cleaning, cooking, stuff like that will surely take up like most of my day, with the rest being put in work. But that is all good, what better thing should I be doing other than taking care of myself.

One would say it is curse that I don't have the time to sit down, play games on my laptop. But I feel fine without it.

The month of June I activated both a GeforceNow and an XBOX Gamepass subscription, and I played all sorts of games. No Man's Sky was the goat game I played, and I snatched a copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and played that for several hours. I have since rescinded my membership to these platforms again, and now I do not have access on the ultra ultra ultra games. But that is the least of my worries because currently there is no god damn Internet where I live. So I am only left to my own devices, with the games I currently have downloaded here on my two laptops and a PSP. I believe I have plenty on the gaming department, but not much on time.

This means my book reading hobby is electrocuted to life once again!

I am reading again!! The Diary of a Young GIrl is slowly but surely being read to its completion. I am eyeing this new book on the book store, The Origin of Species by the goat Charles Darwin. I seriously needed a break on the fiction side of literature. I adored all of it don't get me wrong, but my fiction itch is currently itched and pink. Anne

Frank seriously motivated me to keep a diary (in extension, this blog;) so I am taking my time to update you, the reader, of what is happening to my life. And in turn I might make these more often, in the spirit of Anne Frank which did hers faithfully, so I see the need for me to do as well.

So thats living conditions done, hobbies done, I forgot but I still do ride my bicycle, but definitely not the sporty type of riding now, I now bike to commute and not much for sport. I don't think that's too bad since I am now focusing not much on fat loss but trying to gain mass this time. That said, I am now relieving my body off this heavy toll of cardio to gain more muscle.

I am currently on a gym hunt!!

I've found two so far. Two of the extreme price points. Most expensive is this high end place. Air conditioning, some trainers, I guess a lot of gym equipment and stuff. It's on par with Anytime Fitness if you know that, but it is just so expensive. Now this cheapest one... Oh boy is it a charming place. It is just a dingy large room with rusty weights inside. Unsanitary, sketchy, the equipment are falling apart type of deal. But it is cheap.

Now these two locations are the closest to me from what I've gathered. I don't know what I want yet; Honestly all I need are paralletes an a pull up bar for a home gym, and the price of these two items will absolutely crush these two gyms. But who knows, paying for a gym does not just give you equipment, but also a community and some motivation from others. Now would the expensive gym provide more of that than the cheap gym? Or do I really need it? Can't I just lug my weight around inside my own room, WHO KNOWS!

I'm exploring my new life here one day at a time.

P.S. If you know me from work, HI!
